This 7-way trailer plug with an integrated junction box is built for RVs, trailers, caravans, food vans and campers. It supplies a standard connector for lighting and brake circuits on towed vehicles. The heavy-duty moulded plug simplifies wiring installation. It is not suited for vehicles requiring a different pin configuration or higher current capacity than the 7-way standard provides.

8-Foot Cord and Junction Box Capacity

The kit includes an 8-foot trailer cord connected to a junction box measuring 6.5" x 3.1" x 2.2". Four open and four close rubber grommets with two screws seal the enclosure against water, dust and corrosion. The box organises multiple wire runs for a single trailer connection. Installations needing longer cable runs or additional independent circuits will exceed the supplied length and port count.

Copper Conductors and Temperature Limits

Conductors use pure copper with PVC insulation and ABS housing. The assembly is rated for 105°C dry and 60°C wet environments. Built-in safeguards protect against incorrect voltage, short circuit and internal overheating. The 7-way blade interface limits total current to the connector specification; systems demanding higher amperage or a different connector standard cannot use this harness.
