Aluminium bracket adjusts to hold laser pointers from 5 mm to 38 mm and mounts via a 1/4 standard camera thread
This aluminum alloy bracket attaches a laser pointer to astronomical telescopes from brands such as Celestron, Sky-watcher and Vixen. It accepts pointers from 5 mm up to 38 mm in diameter and mounts via a standard 1/4 camera thread hole. The compact body measures 20 x 29 x 42 mm and weighs 161 g. It is aimed at amateur astronomers who need a simple finder aid.
The all-metal CNC construction adds no moving parts, so operation is completely silent and generates no heat. No power draw is required because the bracket is a passive mechanical mount. The 100 % new aluminum alloy resists corrosion during night-time observing sessions. Installation is tool-free once the thread is engaged.
Users who previously secured pointers with tape, rubber bands or generic clamps gain a repeatable, rigid alignment. The jump is worth it when precise pointing matters for star-hopping or public outreach. It does not suit buyers who need a built-in laser or a powered finder scope.

Screw the 1/4 standard camera thread hole onto the telescope's mounting stud, then tighten the adjustable jaws around the laser pointer; the step often missed is centering the pointer's 5 mm to 38 mm diameter inside the jaws before locking them down.
The aluminum alloy body resists corrosion, but the anodized finish and the adjustment screws can wear; inspect the screw threads and jaw surfaces annually and replace the bracket if the grip on the 5 mm to 38 mm range becomes loose.
The bracket holds pointers from 5 mm to 38 mm diameter; the limit reached first is the jaw's maximum opening — once a pointer exceeds 38 mm it cannot be secured, regardless of session length.
