What this headset is

The RAYBESTOS UNBRANDED B19 is a new over-ear stereo headset that connects wirelessly through Bluetooth 4.1 and also accepts a 3.5 mm audio cable for wired listening. It folds into a compact shape for storage and includes a micro USB charging cable in the box.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers wanting a single device for wireless music, FM radio and TF card playback up to 32 GB will find the built-in controls convenient. It is not for listeners who need active noise cancellation, longer than eight hours of continuous wireless playback or a USB-C charging port.

Behaviour under sustained use

The 320 mAh lithium battery delivers about eight hours of music or ten hours of talk time before a 2.5 hour recharge is required. Passive noise isolation remains constant because it does not draw power, while the Bluetooth link stays stable within the rated 10 metre range during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth version does my phone or laptop need to pair with the B19 headset?

The headset uses Bluetooth 4.1 with EDR and supports HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles, so any device with Bluetooth 4.1 or later will connect.

Can I still use the B19 with an older MP3 player that only has a 3.5 mm jack?

Yes, a 3.5 mm audio cable is included for wired playback when Bluetooth is not available.

How do I know the B19 is charging correctly after I plug it in?

Connect the supplied Micro USB cable; a full charge takes about 2.5 hours and the indicator shows when the 320 mAh battery is ready.
