XXL Cloth Mouse Pad for Broad Desk Coverage

The Razer Gigantus V2 XXL is a cloth gaming mouse pad measuring 940 by 410 millimetres with a 4 millimetre thickness. Its micro-weave surface is calibrated for pixel-precise tracking across all mouse sensors. The high-density rubber foam stays uniformly flat over imperfect desks. A non-slip base keeps the mat stationary during rapid swipes.

Upgrade From Smaller Pads When Desk Space Allows

Moving up from a medium or large pad adds continuous tracking area for low-sensitivity players who make wide arcs. The jump is worth it when your current mat forces frequent lift-and-reposition movements during play. The XXL size also accommodates a keyboard on the same surface for a unified feel. Buyers who need full-desk coverage should consider the larger 3XL variant instead.

Limits of Cloth Surface and Flat Foam Construction

Cloth surfaces accumulate dust and skin oils that gradually increase friction unless cleaned regularly. The 4 millimetre foam compresses under heavy wrist pressure, slightly altering glide feel compared to hard pads. Edges are not stitched, so fraying can appear after prolonged use. The mat has no built-in lighting, power delivery or wireless charging features.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 940 x 410 mm XXL pad require?

The pad measures 940 mm wide by 410 mm deep, so allow at least that footprint plus a small margin for keyboard overhang.

What surface preparation ensures the non-slip base grips properly?

Clean the desk with isopropyl alcohol, let it dry completely, then lay the pad flat and press from the centre outward to remove trapped air.

When should the micro-weave cloth be replaced due to wear?

Replace it when the glide feels uneven, tracking becomes inconsistent, or the surface shows visible fraying or permanent staining.
