10 kg Digital Kitchen Scale

This new Redpepper scale weighs up to 10 kg with 1 g precision and displays six units including grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, millilitres and millilitres of milk. It suits home bakers, coffee enthusiasts and anyone tracking portions for meal prep or weight loss. The stainless steel platform resists stains and fits neatly on a worktop.

Installation and Common Issues

Place the scale on a flat, stable surface, press the power button and wait for the display to show zero before adding ingredients. Use the tare function to subtract container weight for accurate readings of liquids or powders. The four non-slip rubber feet prevent sliding but the scale will give erratic results if used on an uneven or vibrating surface.

1 g Precision

The 1 g resolution is the single specification that decides whether this scale meets your needs. It is adequate for most baking, cooking and coffee brewing tasks. Buyers who need finer resolution for very small quantities such as spices or supplements should look for a scale with 0.1 g readability.
