Full-Size Hot-Swap Keyboard

The Redragon Devarajas K556 is a 104-key wired mechanical keyboard built for gamers and typists who want full layout coverage and the freedom to change switches without soldering. Its hot-swap sockets accept both three-pin and five-pin switches, so the board adapts to personal feel preferences over time.

Aluminium Frame and Brown Tactile Switches

A brushed aluminium base plate adds rigidity and keeps the keyboard stable during intense sessions. Pre-installed tactile Brown switches provide a soft, click-free bump that suits both typing and gaming, while sound-absorbing foam reduces hollow resonance for a quieter overall profile.

Per-Key RGB and Software Customisation

Twenty onboard lighting presets let users adjust brightness and animation speed directly on the keyboard. Companion software expands control with custom effects, macros and key remapping for workflow or game-specific setups. The wired USB connection ensures consistent latency-free input.

Questions about this item

How do I install new switches on the hot-swap sockets without bending pins?

Align each switch’s pins straight over the socket holes and press down evenly until the switch seats firmly; the exclusive socket structure accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin switches and reduces wobble.

What maintenance will the Brown switches and stabilisers need over time?

Brown switches are rated for tens of millions of actuations; periodic cleaning with compressed air and occasional stabiliser re-lubrication keep the tactile feel consistent.

At what point does the aluminium frame’s heat dissipation limit sustained RGB brightness?

The anodised aluminium board acts as a heat spreader, so the 20 preset RGB modes can run at full brightness continuously without thermal throttling.
