Mechanical Numeric Keypad for Data Entry

The Redragon K23 is a 21-key mechanical numeric keypad designed for users who need a dedicated number pad. It suits laptop owners, cashiers, and financial workers whose keyboards lack a numeric section. The compact form factor makes it easy to carry between workstations.

USB Wired Operation with Red Switches

The keypad connects via a Type-C USB interface and draws power directly from the port, so no battery charging is required. Mechanical Red switches deliver a tactile feel with a quiet clicking sound for fast, precise input. The switches are rated for 50 million keystrokes and the ABS construction resists heavy daily use.

Adds Missing Numpad to Compact Keyboards

This unit replaces the absent numeric cluster on tenkeyless or laptop keyboards, restoring quick number entry for spreadsheets and accounting software. It is not for users who need macro keys, wireless freedom, or a full-size keyboard layout. The 12 function keys and NumLock, ESC, Tab, and Delete keys cover essential navigation.

Questions about this item

How do I plug in the Redragon K23 numeric keypad and what step do people miss?

Connect the Type-C USB cable to a free USB port; the keypad works immediately with no driver install, but you must press NumLock once to activate the number keys.

Which part of the K23 will wear out first and when should I plan a replacement?

The mechanical red switches are rated for 50 million keystrokes, so under heavy daily use the switches are the first components likely to need replacement.

What limits the K23 during long data-entry sessions?

The keypad draws power only from the USB port, so sustained use is limited by the host computer’s USB current capacity rather than any internal battery.
