What this keyboard is

The Redragon K521 is a 104-key wired keyboard built for gaming and daily use. It connects through a single USB cable and works with Windows, macOS, PlayStation and Xbox systems without extra drivers. The chassis uses ABS plastic and the keycaps are shaped to give a mechanical feel while using membrane switches underneath. Buyers who need genuine mechanical switches or per-key RGB control should look elsewhere.

Interface and practical limits

The USB connection supplies both data and power so no batteries or separate adapters are required. Because the link is wired there is no wireless latency, but the cable length is fixed and cannot be detached for routing or replacement. The keyboard offers 19-key anti-ghosting which covers common gaming clusters, yet simultaneous presses beyond that set may not all register. Users who rely on full n-key rollover for complex chorded inputs will find the limit restrictive.

The specification that decides fit

The defining spec is the mechanical-feel membrane design paired with 19-key anti-ghosting. It delivers a tactile response similar to mechanical boards while keeping cost and noise lower, and it handles the majority of gaming key combinations. If your play style demands true mechanical actuation or unlimited simultaneous key presses, this model will not meet that requirement.
