87-Key TKL Hall Effect Keyboard

The Redragon K707 HE is a tenkeyless wired gaming keyboard that uses Hall Effect magnetic switches instead of traditional mechanical contacts. It targets competitive players who want adjustable actuation points and an 8,000 Hz polling rate for minimal input latency. The compact layout saves desk space while keeping all essential keys within reach.

Check USB Port and Software Needs

Verify that your system has an available USB-A port for the detachable USB-A to USB-C cable. The adjustable actuation range of 0.1 to 3.9 mm and the rapid trigger feature require the manufacturer’s configuration software to customise per-key settings. Note that the Hall Effect switches are incompatible with other brands’ magnetic switch ecosystems.

Foam Layers and Keycaps Change Acoustics

Three noise-dampening layers — 3.5 mm EVA foam, bottom socket foam and a silicone bottom pad — reduce hollow resonance for a cleaner typing sound. Side-printed PBT gradient keycaps resist shine and keep legends visible over extended use. The detachable cable simplifies transport and cable routing at a LAN setup.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Redragon K707 HE keyboard and what must be purchased separately?

The package includes the 87-key TKL keyboard, a detachable USB-A to USB-C cable, and three noise-dampening layers (3.5mm EVA foam, bottom socket foam, silicone bottom pad). No extra accessories are required for basic wired operation.

Which version of the Redragon K707 HE should I choose for adjustable actuation?

This model uses Hall Effect magnetic switches with software-adjustable actuation from 0.1 mm to 3.9 mm and Rapid Trigger support. There are no alternate switch versions listed; the single configuration covers the full adjustment range.

What does the 8000 Hz polling rate mean for actual gameplay latency?

The native 8,000 Hz hyper-polling transmits inputs up to 8x faster with a lowest latency of 0.125 ms, so keystrokes register almost instantly in-game when connected via the detachable USB-C cable.
