Tank-Solid Aluminum Base

The Redragon K740 is a wired mechanical keyboard built on an original aluminum board with a brushed surface finish. Its 98-key layout retains full 100% functionality while reducing the footprint by 20 percent. Hot-swap sockets allow switch changes without soldering. The board uses 95 percent PBT keycaps paired with custom linear switches.

Dedicated Knob for Media and Lighting

A single rotary knob controls backlight brightness, volume, playback and mode switching without extra keys. Pro software expands macro and lighting options for gamers and power users who want deep customisation. Buyers who need wireless connectivity or a standard full-size footprint with a separate number pad should consider other designs.

Custom Dragon Chant Linear Switches

Thick-lubed custom linear switches deliver cushioned travel and a silky, creamy typing feel. The hot-swap PCB lets owners swap to any compatible 3-pin or 5-pin switch to change the actuation character. This switch feel is the deciding factor for typists who prefer a smooth, pre-lubed linear action out of the box.
