34-Key Mechanical Numpad

The Redragon KN34 is a wired mechanical number pad with 34 keys including a full numeric zone, navigation cluster and 12 function keys. It connects via a 1.5 m USB-C to USB-A cable and works with Windows, Mac and Android. The board targets accountants, data specialists and anyone who needs dedicated numeric input without a full-size keyboard.

Installation and common issues

Plug the detachable cable into a USB-A port and the keypad is recognised automatically by the operating system. No driver installation is required for basic operation. The hot-swappable sockets accept most three-pin and five-pin mechanical switches, so users can replace the pre-installed Gateron brown switches without soldering. A frequent issue is that the dedicated calculator key and parentheses keys function only on Windows, while Mac users can customise F13–F15 through system settings.

Capacity and headroom

The 34-key layout covers numeric entry, cursor navigation and extended function keys in a compact 5.87 by 5.28 by 1.54 in footprint. White single-colour backlighting provides visibility in low light. The tactile brown switches suit shared offices but the keypad lacks wireless connectivity, macro programmability and per-key RGB control. Users who need Bluetooth, multi-device pairing or custom macros should look at other models.
