Redragon M619 Wired Optical Mouse

The Redragon M619 is a wired optical gaming mouse built for players who want adjustable sensitivity and a comfortable grip. It offers five hardware DPI levels and eight programmable buttons that can be remapped through software for different games or work tasks.

DPI Range and Software Limits

The mouse defaults to five DPI steps at 400, 800, 1600, 2400 and 3200, while the software extends the selectable range from 50 up to 12800. Sensitivity changes are handled entirely in the driver, so on-the-fly switching is restricted to the five preset levels unless the software is open.

Upgrade From Basic Office Mice

This model replaces standard three-button office mice that lack programmable buttons, adjustable DPI or durable switches. The jump is worth it when you need per-game keybinds, a higher click rating of 10 million cycles or RGB lighting with 16.8 million colour options.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the default 3200 DPI setting or configure a custom 12800 DPI level for fast-paced shooters?

The mouse ships with five default DPI levels up to 3200, and the software lets you set any value between 50 and 12800, so you can choose a preset or dial in a custom sensitivity.

How does the 12800 DPI maximum translate to actual cursor speed on a high-resolution monitor?

At 12800 DPI the cursor moves 12800 counts per inch of physical travel, so on a 4K screen small hand movements cover the full width; lower the DPI in software for finer control.

What connection standard does the M619 use and does it limit the 12800 DPI polling rate?

The M619 is a wired USB mouse; the cable provides a stable data link that does not cap the adjustable 50–12800 DPI range or the 10 million-click switch durability.
