Wireless gaming mouse with a 16,000 DPI optical sensor, 1,000 Hz polling rate, 40 G acceleration and up to 45 hours battery life
The Redragon M686 is a wireless gaming mouse built for players who want cable-free movement without sacrificing responsiveness. Its 2.4 GHz dongle delivers a 1000 Hz polling rate and 1 ms report rate that matches wired performance. The PAW3335 optical sensor tracks at up to 16000 DPI across five onboard levels. An ergonomic right-hand shape with a skin-friendly finish reduces fatigue during long sessions on PC, Mac or laptop.
A rechargeable battery powers the mouse for up to 45 hours in eco mode, letting you play multiple sessions between charges. The PAW3335 sensor keeps power draw low while maintaining 1000 Hz polling and 40G acceleration in both wireless and wired modes. You can switch to the USB-C cable for continuous use while the battery replenishes, so there is no downtime when the charge runs low.
Eight programmable buttons, including three side macro keys, can be remapped through the Redragon Pro driver for game-specific commands or productivity shortcuts. The same software adjusts each of the five DPI steps in 100 DPI increments and controls RGB backlight colours and effects. Settings are stored onboard, so your configuration travels with the mouse to any system without re-installing software.

Plug the 2.4 GHz dongle into a USB port, switch the mouse on, then install the Redragon Pro driver to unlock the 5 onboard DPI levels (1000/2000/4000/8000/16000) and the 8 programmable buttons; the step users skip is installing the driver, leaving DPI and macros at defaults.
The built-in rechargeable battery will eventually hold less charge; when runtime drops well below the quoted 45 hours in eco-mode, the mouse must be sent for service because the battery is not user-replaceable.
Running at 1000 Hz polling with the PAW3335 sensor at 16000 DPI drains the battery fastest, so the 45-hour eco-mode figure is not reached and recharge cycles become the practical ceiling.
