Ultra-light wired gaming mouse

The Redragon M724 is a right-handed optical mouse that weighs 42 g and connects through a USB cable. Its Pixart 3327 sensor reaches 12 400 DPI and 30 G acceleration at a 1 kHz report rate. Five programmable buttons and five on-board DPI levels suit competitive players who want a lightweight wired option.

Software customisation changes button

Redragon software lets you redefine every button, create macros and set any DPI value between 200 and 12 400. The five default steps 1 200, 2 400, 3 500, 5 500 and 12 400 can be replaced with personal profiles for different games or work tasks.

Check your USB port and Windows version before

The mouse requires a free USB Type-A port and lists Windows XP as the oldest supported operating system. Left-handed users should note the shape is built for right-hand grip only. No wireless mode or Bluetooth is included.

Questions about this item

Will the PTFE feet on the M724 need replacement after extended use?

The mouse glides on PTFE feet; they wear down over time and can be replaced with standard aftermarket skates when friction increases.

What is the maximum acceleration the PixArt 3327 sensor can track before losing precision?

The sensor is rated for 30 G acceleration; beyond that threshold tracking may become inconsistent during very fast swipes.

How much power does the M724 draw from the USB port during all-day use?

As a wired optical mouse it draws standard USB 5 V current, typically well under 100 mA, so heat and power draw remain negligible.
