Ultra-light 50 g wireless gaming mouse with 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity, six programmable buttons, 1 000 Hz polling rate and adjustable DPI up to 24 000
The Redragon M817 PRO is a wireless gaming mouse weighing 50 grams, built for players who prioritise low mass and quick handling. It connects through 2.4 GHz wireless or Bluetooth and includes six programmable buttons for custom keybinds and macros. The compact shape and frosted coating suit smaller hands and extended sessions.
The 2.4 GHz nano receiver and Bluetooth links provide cable-free freedom, but both share the same 1000 Hz polling ceiling and can be affected by local radio congestion. Switching between the two wireless modes is manual, so instant failover is not supported. Wired operation is not available on this model.
Users moving from heavier office mice or tethered gaming models gain noticeable speed in flick shots and reduced wrist fatigue. The jump is most worthwhile for competitive shooters and travellers who value the 50g weight and dual wireless flexibility. Buyers needing more than six buttons or a dedicated wired mode should look elsewhere.

The mouse ships with six preset steps at 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 12000 and 24000 DPI; you can also set any value between 50 and 24000 in the software to match your preferred sensitivity.
It sets the maximum cursor distance per inch of hand movement; at 24000 DPI a tiny swipe crosses the screen, while lower presets such as 1000 or 4000 give finer control for aiming.
The 2.4 GHz nano receiver provides a stable low-latency connection, and the 1000 Hz polling rate means the mouse reports its position up to 1000 times per second, capping input lag at about one millisecond.
