Redragon M901P-KS Wireless Gaming Mouse

The Redragon M901P-KS is a right-handed gaming mouse built for MMO players who need many programmable inputs. It offers a 16000 DPI optical sensor with adjustable steps from 100 to 16000 and a polling rate up to 1000 Hz. Sixteen buttons can be remapped via software, and five memory profiles store different layouts. The mouse operates in both wireless and wired modes.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a battery-powered peripheral the mouse produces no audible fan noise and negligible heat during use. A built-in 1000mAh cell delivers up to 70 hours of operation with RGB lighting disabled. The device can be used while connected to the charging cable so sessions are not interrupted. Power consumption scales with polling rate and lighting settings.

Upgrade Path and Value

This model replaces a standard office mouse or an entry-level gaming unit that lacks side-button clusters and macro support. The jump is worth it when you regularly use complex key combinations in MMOs or MOBAs and want them on thumb-accessible buttons. Buyers who need every button reprogrammable should note the top DPI buttons are fixed on this wireless version.

What maintenance will the Redragon M901P-KS need over time?

Recharge the built-in 1000mAh battery when the 70-hour runtime (RGB off) drops; clean the optical sensor and the 12 side buttons to keep tracking accurate.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions?

The 70-hour battery life (RGB off) is the first constraint; after that the mouse must be used wired while charging to continue.
