M908 Impact MMO Gaming Mouse

The Redragon M908 Impact is a wired optical gaming mouse built for MMO players who need many programmable inputs. It offers 18 programmable buttons, including 12 side buttons, and a maximum sensitivity of 12400 DPI. An 8-piece weight tuning set with 2.4 g weights lets you adjust the feel. RGB backlighting with 16.8 million color options can be disabled.

Suited for MMO keybinds, not minimalists

This mouse suits gamers who rely on extensive macro shortcuts and side-button clusters for complex ability rotations. The high button count and profile system support detailed per-game layouts. Buyers who want a lightweight, low-button mouse for fast flick shots or a compact shape for claw grip should look elsewhere. The wired USB connection also means it is not for users requiring wireless freedom.

Weight set and profiles change balance and setup

The included 8-piece weight tuning set allows physical balance adjustments without tools. Five onboard memory profiles each carry a dedicated light color, so you can switch button mappings and DPI steps instantly without software. The 6 ft braided-fiber cable with a gold-plated USB connector adds durability for desktop or laptop use. TEFLON feet pads provide smooth glide across mouse pads.

Questions about this item

What USB port do I need on my PC for the Redragon M908 to work?

The mouse uses a gold-plated USB connector on a 6ft braided cable, so any standard USB Type-A port on your desktop or laptop will power and communicate with it.

Will the twelve side buttons and six top buttons still register if I keep using an older USB 2.0 hub?

Yes, all 18 programmable buttons send standard HID signals over the wired USB link, so they function normally through a USB 2.0 hub without extra drivers.

How can I confirm the 12,400 DPI sensor and RGB lighting are active after I plug the mouse in?

Move the mouse and watch the cursor respond at the default sensitivity; cycle the DPI button to see the pointer speed change, and observe the 16.8 million-color RGB zones light up — disable the backlight in software if you prefer it off.
