Retro Typewriter Gaming Keyboard

The Redragon MK-punk is a 104-key mechanical keyboard with white round keycaps and tactile blue switches. It connects via USB 2.0 and features single-colour ice-blue LED backlighting with multiple lighting modes. An aluminium alloy panel and magnetic wrist rest complete the typewriter-inspired design.

Who This Suits and Who It Doesn't

This keyboard suits typists and gamers who want a full-size layout with 12 function keys and a number pad. It works with Windows 98 or later, Linux and Mac without drivers. Buyers who need per-key RGB customisation, wireless connectivity or a compact form factor should look at other options.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug the USB cable into a free port and the keyboard is ready to use; no software is required. Adjust the kickstand feet and attach the magnetic wrist rest for comfort. Some users find the clicky blue switches too loud for shared spaces, and the single-colour backlight cannot be changed to other colours.

Questions about this item

Does my computer need a free USB 2.0 port to use this keyboard?

Yes, the keyboard connects through a USB 2.0 cable and requires one available USB port on the host system.

Will the magnetic wrist rest attach securely if I keep my current aluminium keyboard tray?

The wrist rest uses a magnetic base that holds on any ferromagnetic surface; it will not stick to a plain aluminium tray unless a steel plate is added underneath.

How can I confirm the ice-blue backlight is functioning after I plug it in?

Press the Fn key together with Ins, Home, Page Up, Delete or End to cycle through the lighting modes, and use the arrow keys to adjust brightness and speed.
