Purpose-built gaming keyboard

The Redragon VATA K580RGB is a wired mechanical keyboard with Blue tactile switches and a 104-key layout. It targets gamers who want per-key RGB customisation, on-the-fly macro recording and a dedicated media wheel without installing extra software.

Behaviour during long sessions

Hot-swappable sockets accept nearly all 3-pin and 5-pin switches so worn or noisy units can be replaced without soldering. Double-shot ABS keycaps resist legend fade while the switches are rated for 50 million keystrokes at 60 g actuation force and 2.3 mm travel.

Check your setup first

A single free USB port is required for power and data; no battery or wireless option exists. Buyers who need a compact form factor, low-profile switches or multi-device Bluetooth connectivity should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the K580RGB get during long sessions with its Blue switches?

The Blue switches deliver a tactile bump and audible click at 60 g actuation force and 2.3 mm travel; the keyboard draws power from a single USB port and has no active cooling, so heat remains minimal.

What must I already own to use the dedicated media wheel and 5 macro keys on this keyboard?

A Windows 98 or later system with one free USB port is all that is required; macro recording and media controls work on-board without extra software.

Will the hot-swappable sockets accept the Cherry MX clones I already have from an older board?

The upgraded hot-swap sockets support nearly all 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, letting you drop in most existing Cherry-style switches without soldering.
