Capture capability

The Redragon VC-321 accepts video input up to 4K at 30 frames per second and captures it at 1080p 60 frames per second over USB 3.0. It is aimed at streamers and content creators who want to record gameplay or camera footage without installing internal hardware.

System readiness

Your computer must run Windows 7 or later, or macOS 10.15 or newer, and provide a free USB 3.0 port for the capture device. You also need an HDMI source such as a console, DSLR or camera that can output the resolution you intend to record.

Build and connections

The card uses a compact USB dongle form factor with an HDMI input and an HDMI pass-through output for zero-latency monitoring. Both video and audio travel through the HDMI link, so a single cable carries the signal to the PC while the pass-through lets you keep playing on your display.

Questions about this item

What cables or accessories come in the VC-321 box?

The card ships with the capture unit itself; an HDMI cable and a USB 3.0 cable must be supplied separately.

Should I pick the 4K 30FPS input or the 1080P 60FPS capture mode for my stream?

Choose 4K 30FPS input when your source is 4K at 30 frames; the card will capture at 1080P 60FPS for smoother playback.

What does the 4K 30FPS input rating mean once the VC-321 is connected to my PC?

It means the card accepts a 4K signal at 30 frames per second and records or streams it at 1080P 60FPS over USB 3.0.
