Altronix AL842UL2ADA compatible kit

This RefurbUPS kit supplies two 12V12A sealed lead-acid batteries built to match the Altronix AL842UL2ADA security-system cartridge. It is intended for installers and facility managers who need a direct replacement for depleted backup cells in alarm panels or access-control units. The pack delivers the voltage and capacity the original specification calls for without modification.

Straightforward drop-in replacement

Each 12V12A block fits the existing battery tray and uses the same F2 terminals, so the swap takes only basic hand tools and a few minutes. The 20 kg combined weight means two-person handling is safer when the cabinet is mounted high. No firmware update or configuration change is required, but the kit will not suit systems that call for a different voltage or amp-hour rating.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the two 12V12A batteries are charging correctly after installing them in the Altronix AL842UL2ADA kit?

After installation, check the UPS or security panel display for a normal charge-status indicator and verify the system runs on battery during a brief self-test without triggering a low-voltage alarm.

Does the kit include any cables, mounting brackets or terminal hardware, or must I supply those myself?

The package supplies only the two 12V12A sealed lead-acid batteries; any interconnecting cables, brackets or terminal adapters required by your specific enclosure must be sourced separately.
