What it is

This is a replacement battery kit for uninterruptible power supplies. It contains one sealed lead-acid cell rated at 6 volts and 9 ampere-hours with T2/F2 terminals. The unit is supplied new and factory-fresh with installation instructions included.

Who it suits

It suits anyone whose UPS requires a single 6 V 9 Ah block with F2 tabs. It will not suit systems that need a different voltage, a higher capacity or a different terminal style. Buyers who need multiple cells or a complete cartridge assembly should look at something else.

Capacity and headroom

The 9 Ah rating delivers typical runtime for small desktop or network UPS units under moderate loads. It handles brief outages and voltage sags comfortably. Extended runtime demands or high-drain equipment will exceed its capacity.

Questions about this item

Will the T2/F2 terminals on this 6V9A battery connect directly to my UPS's existing wiring harness?

Yes, the B&B BP8-6 T2 uses standard T2/F2 faston terminals that match the original battery connectors in compatible UPS units.

Can I mix this new 6V9A cartridge with older batteries still installed in a multi-battery UPS string?

Mixing a fresh 6V9A cell with aged batteries is not recommended; uneven capacity and internal resistance will degrade runtime and may trigger charger faults.

After installing the cartridge, what voltage should I measure at the T2 terminals to confirm the battery is healthy?

A fully charged 6V SLA battery should read approximately 6.3 to 6.4 volts at rest on the T2/F2 terminals.
