Security-system backup power

The RefurbUPS DSC System BD7-12 is a 12V 7A sealed lead-acid battery built to replace the original cartridge in compatible DSC alarm panels. It supplies the reserve current that keeps the panel operating during a mains outage. Installers and system owners use it to restore full backup capability without replacing the entire control unit.

T1/F1 terminal upgrade

The cell uses a T1/F1 terminal layout, so it fits only panels designed for that connector style; boards with F2 or screw terminals cannot accept it. The swap is worthwhile when the existing pack no longer holds a charge or when a periodic test shows voltage sag under load. Buyers needing higher capacity or a different terminal type must select another model.
