Direct UPS Power Restoration

This replacement kit restores backup power to the Eaton Powerware Prestige EXT 750 UPS. It suits administrators who need to refresh ageing batteries without replacing the whole unit. The kit targets environments where continuous uptime depends on a healthy battery string.

Five Matched 12 V 5 Ah Cells

Five sealed lead-acid cells rated at 12 volts and 5 ampere-hours arrive pre-wired as a single cartridge. Factory matching ensures balanced discharge across the string so no single cell ages faster than the others. The high-rate design supports the UPS during sudden load spikes.

Guided Cartridge Swap With Basic Tools

Printed instructions walk through the front-panel cartridge exchange step by step. Most installations finish in minutes using only a screwdriver. The main risk is forgetting to reconnect the internal plug or seating the cartridge unevenly, which prevents the UPS from recognising the new pack.

Questions about this item

How often will the five 12V 5Ah sealed lead-acid batteries in this kit need to be replaced under normal use?

Typical UPS batteries of this type last three to five years before capacity drops enough to require a new kit.

What component reaches its limit first during a prolonged power outage with the Prestige EXT 750?

The 12V 5Ah battery set will deplete first, ending backup runtime before any other part hits a thermal or current limit.

How much heat and fan noise does the UPS produce when this battery kit is installed and the unit runs continuously?

The batteries themselves generate minimal heat and no noise; any audible fan sound comes from the UPS chassis, not the replacement kit.
