Compatible E8W emergency-lighting battery

This RefurbUPS kit provides a direct replacement for the Emergi-Lite E8W emergency-lighting unit. It contains a single 6 V 7 Ah sealed lead-acid battery built to high-rate discharge specifications. The T1/F1 terminal format matches the original cartridge so installers can swap it without rewiring. Facilities managers and maintenance teams use it to restore backup illumination in commercial and institutional buildings.

T1/F1 terminals simplify installation

The battery arrives with the factory-fitted T1/F1 faston tabs, so it slots into the existing E8W housing and connects to the original harness. No adapter cables or terminal modifications are required, freeing the technician from sourcing extra hardware. The 4 kg pack is handled as a single unit, reducing the number of components to track during scheduled maintenance cycles.

Questions about this item

How long will the 6 V 7 Ah battery power my emergency lighting unit before it needs recharging?

Runtime depends on the load of the specific fixture; a 7 Ah cell typically delivers several hours at the rated emergency draw, but exact duration varies by luminaire design.

Does the sealed lead-acid cell generate noticeable heat or fan noise during continuous float charging?

The valve-regulated SLA chemistry runs silently with no moving parts and produces only minimal warmth under normal float conditions.
