6V 7Ah Emergency Lighting Battery Kit

This replacement kit provides a single 6-volt, 7-ampere-hour sealed lead-acid battery designed for emergency lighting systems. It serves as a direct compatible unit for the Emergi-Lite ELU8 model. The battery uses a T1/F1 terminal configuration for straightforward installation. It is supplied new and ready for immediate deployment in compatible fixtures.

T1/F1 Terminal Connection Simplifies Swaps

The included F1 faston terminals allow tool-free connection to existing wiring harnesses in supported emergency lights. This terminal style matches the original ELU8 specification, reducing installation time during routine maintenance. The kit contains only the battery cartridge itself, with no additional mounting hardware or cables provided. Users must verify terminal polarity and physical dimensions against their specific unit before fitting.

Questions about this item

How often will the 6 V 7 Ah SLA battery inside the ELU8 cartridge need replacing?

A sealed lead-acid cell of this capacity typically delivers three to five years of standby service before capacity drops below useful levels; plan on swapping the cartridge once runtime no longer meets your emergency-lighting code requirements.

What runtime limit appears first when the ELU8 battery powers an emergency luminaire continuously?

The 7 Ah rating sets the hard ceiling — at the luminaire’s rated load the battery will exhaust its stored energy after the calculated ampere-hour draw is reached, so duration is fixed by that capacity and the fixture’s wattage.
