Emergi-Lite U131 compatible battery

This replacement cartridge fits emergency lighting units that require a 6 V 7 Ah sealed lead‑acid cell. It is intended for facility managers and maintenance teams who need a direct‑fit spare for scheduled battery swaps. The kit contains a single T1/F1 terminal battery and is sold as new stock.

Sealed lead‑acid thermals and power

The SLA chemistry runs cool during normal float charging and does not require active cooling or fans. Self‑discharge is low, so the unit draws negligible standby current when the lighting system is idle. No audible noise is produced in regular operation.

Questions about this item

How is the Emergi-Lite U131 battery installed, and what connection mistake should I avoid?

The kit includes one 6V7A sealed lead-acid battery with T1/F1 terminals. Slide it into the emergency-light housing and push the spade connectors onto the tabs until they click; reversing the red and black leads will prevent the unit from charging.

What maintenance or replacement will the U131 battery need later?

Expect a three-to-five-year service life in standby use. Plan to replace the cartridge when the self-test indicator shows a fault or runtime drops below the rated duration; no watering or equalising charge is required.
