6 V 4.5 Ah alarm system battery

This replacement cartridge delivers a single 6 volt 4.5 ampere hour sealed lead acid cell built for high rate discharge. It matches the LightAlarms KB1 form factor and uses a T1/F1 terminal layout. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation in compatible security or emergency lighting equipment.

Drop in power for existing KB1 slots

The battery fits directly into the original KB1 compartment without wiring changes or adapter plates. Its sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage and allows mounting in any orientation the chassis permits. Systems that require a different voltage, capacity or terminal type will need a separate cartridge.

Questions about this item

How long will the 4.5 Ah capacity sustain a typical security panel load?

The 4.5 Ah rating delivers several hours of backup for standard alarm panels; actual runtime depends on the panel's current draw and the number of connected sensors.

Does the sealed lead-acid design generate noticeable heat during continuous float charging?

Sealed lead-acid chemistry runs cool under normal float voltage; only a heavy discharge followed by rapid recharge produces detectable warmth.
