Emergency lighting battery replacement

This 6V 4.5Ah sealed lead-acid cartridge replaces the Lithonia ELB06042 unit in compatible emergency lighting systems. It arrives new and ready to install as a direct swap for the original power source. The T1/F1 terminal layout matches the factory connector for a secure fit.

Capacity and runtime limits

The 4.5Ah rating supports standard emergency egress loads for the duration specified by the fixture manufacturer. Extended runtime or higher-wattage lamp arrays will exceed the cell capacity and require a larger battery pack.

Questions about this item

Will the ELB06042 fit the same emergency-lighting fixture that currently uses a 6 V 4.5 Ah T1/F1 battery?

Yes — the cartridge is built as a direct replacement for the Lithonia ELB06042 and uses the same T1/F1 terminal layout, so it installs in the existing fixture without adapter cables.

How can I confirm the new battery is holding charge after I install it?

Power the unit, let it charge fully, then run the emergency-lighting self-test or press the test button; the lamps should stay lit for the rated duration if the 6 V 4.5 Ah cell is healthy.
