Lithonia ES Compatible Replacement Battery

This replacement cartridge supplies a single 6V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery built to fit Lithonia ES emergency lighting units. It uses a T1/F1 terminal layout so installers can swap the cell without rewiring. Facility managers and maintenance teams can keep exit signs and egress fixtures operational with a direct-fit spare. The kit contains only the battery; no extra hardware or wiring is included.

High-rate discharge design under sustained load

The high-rate discharge chemistry delivers the steady current that emergency lighting demands during extended outages rather than brief bursts. Voltage remains stable across the discharge curve so connected fixtures stay lit for the rated duration. The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage when the unit sits on charge for months between events. Buyers needing higher capacity or a different terminal style will need a different cartridge.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 6 V 7 Ah SLA battery generate during continuous float charging?

The sealed lead-acid chemistry runs cool under normal float current; only a warm cabinet or blocked vents would make the pack noticeably hot.

What must the emergency light already have to accept this T1/F1 cartridge?

The host unit needs push-on terminals spaced for T1/F1 tabs and a 6 V charging circuit designed for a 7 Ah high-rate SLA pack.
