Compatible Replacement Battery Kit

This kit supplies four 12V7A sealed lead-acid batteries designed for the APC Smart-UPS 1000 Rack Mount 2U (SU1000RM2U). It replaces the APC RBC23 cartridge so existing wiring harnesses can be reused. The batteries are factory fresh and ship with detailed installation instructions for immediate deployment.

High-rate discharge limitation

Each 12V7A cell is rated for high-rate discharge rather than deep-cycle longevity. Runtime will shorten under sustained heavy loads and the batteries must be recharged promptly after any extended outage. They are not intended for continuous cyclic use or solar storage applications.

Four 12V7A batteries included

The package contains exactly four 12V7A SLA units pre-wired for the SU1000RM2U chassis. If your UPS requires a different voltage, capacity or cell count this kit will not fit and cannot be adapted.

Questions about this item

How many 12V7A batteries are in the kit and which APC kit does it replace?

The kit contains four 12V7A sealed lead-acid batteries and is compatible with the APC RBC 23 replacement cartridge.

What does the 1000 in the product name mean for my UPS runtime?

The 1000 refers to the Smart-UPS 1000 VA rack-mount model this kit is built for; actual runtime depends on the connected load and the condition of the existing UPS electronics.

Does the kit use a standard battery connector or a proprietary interface?

The kit is designed to reuse your existing wiring harness, so it connects through the same terminals already present in the SU1000RM2U battery compartment.
