Emergency lighting replacement cartridge

The TechnaCell TC670 cartridge provides a direct replacement for emergency lighting units that require a 6V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery. It is supplied as a single high-rate discharge cell with T1/F1 terminals for quick installation.

Sealed lead-acid construction

The SLA chemistry operates without liquid electrolyte spills and generates minimal heat during float charging. Normal use produces no audible fan noise and the battery draws only the low trickle current required for standby maintenance.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TC670 battery kit and what is the common mistake?

Disconnect the UPS from power, remove the old cartridge, and connect the new 6V7A SLA battery observing the T1/F1 terminal polarity; the step often missed is failing to secure the terminal connectors tightly, which can cause intermittent contact.

What maintenance will the TC670 battery need and when should I replace it?

The sealed lead-acid cell requires no fluid top-ups; plan to replace the cartridge after three to five years or when the UPS reports reduced runtime during self-tests.
