Compatible replacement kit

This kit supplies four 12V7A sealed lead-acid batteries built for the Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2UP UPS. It matches the RBC49-2U cartridge form factor so the units fit the existing battery tray without modification. Each cell is factory fresh and rated for high-rate discharge during power events. Installation instructions are included in the package.

Suits owners of the SMART2200RMXL2UP

Buyers who need to restore runtime on that specific UPS model will find the correct voltage, capacity and physical layout in this kit. It is not for users with a different UPS voltage, a different cartridge size or a requirement for higher ampere-hour cells. Anyone needing a different connector type or a lithium chemistry should look elsewhere.

Four 12V7A batteries in one kit

The package contains exactly four 12-volt 7-ampere-hour SLA blocks wired for the SMART2200RMXL2UP. This quantity and rating determine whether the UPS regains its original backup time. Verify that your unit uses the RBC49-2U cartridge before ordering.

Questions about this item

How long will four 12 V 7 Ah batteries run a 2200 VA UPS under load?

Runtime depends on the connected load; at full 2200 VA the pack typically delivers only a few minutes, while lighter loads extend it proportionally.

What connector standard do the 12 V 7 Ah cells use to link with the SMART2200RMXL2UP?

The batteries use the same proprietary cartridge interface as the original RBC49-2U pack, so they plug directly into the UPS without adapters.

Will the four-battery kit fit inside the 2 U rack-mount chassis of the SMART2200RMXL2UP?

Yes, the kit is built to the exact dimensions of the factory RBC49-2U cartridge and slides into the UPS battery compartment without modification.
