Questions about this item

How often will the five 12V5A SLA batteries in this kit need replacing?

Sealed lead-acid cells of this type typically last three to five years in standby service; plan to swap the full set again around that interval.

What is the first limit reached when the Prestige EXT 1250 runs on this battery pack during a long outage?

The 5 Ah capacity per cell defines the runtime ceiling; once the stored charge is depleted the UPS will shut down.

How much heat and noise does the battery kit produce when the UPS operates continuously?

The sealed batteries are passive components with no fans, so they add virtually no audible noise and only minimal warmth during discharge.
