Compatible 12 V 7 Ah UPS battery

This replacement cartridge delivers a single 12 V 7 Ah sealed lead-acid cell built to fit the Vision CP1270A form factor. It targets administrators who need a direct swap for an ageing UPS pack without reconfiguring the rack or wiring.

Steady discharge under load

The high-rate discharge chemistry maintains voltage during extended outages rather than collapsing after the initial surge. Factory-fresh plates keep internal resistance low so the pack supports the UPS inverter continuously until mains return or graceful shutdown completes.

Verify terminal layout and dimensions

Confirm the existing cartridge uses the same terminal orientation and physical footprint before ordering. The kit includes installation instructions but does not supply tools, mounting hardware or firmware updates for the UPS controller.

Questions about this item

Does the 12 V 7 Ah battery generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous UPS operation?

The sealed lead-acid cell runs silently and produces only minimal warmth under normal float charge; no fan or moving parts are present.

What existing UPS hardware is required for the CP1270A cartridge to function?

A compatible UPS chassis designed for a 12 V 7 Ah high-rate discharge battery with the matching terminal layout.

Will the CP1270A work reliably in an older UPS that originally shipped with a different brand of 12 V 7 Ah battery?

Yes — it is built as a direct drop-in replacement for any UPS specifying a 12 V 7 Ah high-rate SLA cell with the same physical dimensions.
