Vision CP642 Compatible Battery

The Vision CP642 compatible kit supplies a single 6V 4.5A sealed lead-acid battery with T1/F1 terminals. It is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for UPS units that require this exact cartridge format. Buyers who need a higher-capacity pack or a different terminal style cannot use this product.

Replaces Worn UPS Cartridges

The battery restores runtime to a UPS whose original cells no longer hold charge. The jump is worth it when self-tests fail, runtime has dropped below useful levels, or the unit alarms on battery fault. It does not add extra capacity beyond the original 4.5A rating.

Simple Cartridge Swap

Installation consists of opening the UPS battery door, disconnecting the old cartridge, and connecting the new one using the existing wiring. The kit includes comprehensive replacement instructions. The most common issue is reversed polarity on the T1/F1 terminals, which prevents the UPS from recognising the battery.

Questions about this item

What terminal type does the Vision CP642 6V 4.5A battery use for connection?

The battery uses T1/F1 terminals, so ensure your UPS has matching spade connectors before installation.

Which step in the included instructions do installers most often miss when fitting the Vision CP642 kit?

Many forget to fully seat the spade terminals onto the battery posts before closing the UPS cover, causing poor contact.

How often should the Vision CP642 6V 4.5A SLA battery be replaced in typical UPS service?

Expect a service life of three to five years; plan replacement when runtime drops noticeably or the UPS signals a battery fault.
