Large Military Shadow Box

The Reminded display case is a solid-wood shadow box with a mahogany finish built to hold a 5 x 9-1/2 folded burial flag. It includes a certificate holder for medals, badges and other mementos. A glass front and felt-lined backing protect the contents. The piece can be hung on a wall or set on a shelf.

Wall Or Shelf Mounting Check

Verify that the intended wall can support the weight of a solid-wood case with glass glazing and that suitable fixings are available for the two integrated hangers. For shelf display confirm the surface is level and deep enough for the 3-7/8 inch depth. Ensure the 25-1/4 inch height and 25-1/2 inch width fit the chosen space.

Shadow Box And Certificate Holder

The shadow box creates a deep cavity that keeps the flag and memorabilia away from the glass, reducing contact damage. The built-in certificate holder organises awards and documents alongside the flag. Felt lining cushions every item while the glass front shields them from dust and UV exposure.

Questions about this item

Does the shadow box arrive with the 5 x 9-1/2 folded burial flag and mounting hardware, or must those be purchased separately?

The case is sold empty; you supply the folded burial flag yourself. Two strong hangers are already attached for wall mounting, and the thick flat base allows shelf display without extra parts.

Should I choose this mahogany-finished solid-wood model or a different finish for a 5 x 9-1/2 flag?

This is the only finish described for the 25-inch case; if you prefer another colour or material you would need a different product.

Will the 25-1/4 x 25-1/2 x 3-7/8 inch case fit a standard 5 x 9-1/2 folded flag without bending the edges?

Yes — the interior is sized precisely for a 5 x 9-1/2 folded burial flag, and the felt-lined backing protects the fabric while the glass front keeps it flat.
