Product identity

Renewable Lubricants Biodegradable Air Tool Oil is a 5-gallon yellow lubricant formulated for pneumatic equipment. It serves maintenance teams and operators who run chipping hammers, impact wrenches, air motors, grinders, reamers and drills in environments where lubricant loss could contaminate air, water or soil.

Replaces petroleum oils

This biodegradable fluid substitutes conventional petroleum-based air tool oils when the application carries a direct risk of environmental pollution. The switch is worth it whenever lubricant mist or leakage from rotary or reciprocating tools would otherwise reach the surrounding work area or drainage systems.

Installation and pitfalls

The oil can be fed through an airline lubricator or applied directly into the tool via a squirt can through the quick-coupling air connection. Common issues include over-filling the lubricator reservoir, using the wrong viscosity for the specific tool type, and neglecting to purge old petroleum oil before the first fill.
