Portable Blue Suitcase Turntable

The RetroAudio JM-101 is a belt-driven turntable housed in a vintage-style blue suitcase with a carrying handle. It plays 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records in 7, 10 and 12 inch sizes. Built-in stereo speakers provide sound without extra equipment, while Bluetooth receiving lets you stream audio from a phone or tablet. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and RCA output are also fitted.

Check Power and Placement Before Use

The unit runs from mains power so a nearby socket is required. Ensure the surface is level and stable to keep the belt-driven platter running smoothly. If you plan to connect external speakers via the RCA ports, have suitable cables ready. The Bluetooth function receives audio only; it cannot transmit to wireless headphones or speakers.

Ideal for Casual Listening and Gifting

This all-in-one player suits beginners wanting a simple way to enjoy vinyl at home or in a bedroom office. The portable suitcase design makes it easy to move between rooms or take to a gathering. Buyers who need Bluetooth transmission, a replaceable cartridge, adjustable tracking force or a direct-drive mechanism should look at a different class of turntable.

Questions about this item

Does the JM-101 come with a cartridge and stylus, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the record player with a built-in cartridge and stylus, so no separate purchase is needed to start playing records.

How do I choose between the three supported speeds of 33, 45 and 78 RPM?

Select the speed that matches the record label: 33 RPM for 12-inch LPs, 45 RPM for 7-inch singles and 78 RPM for older shellac discs.

What does the Bluetooth receiving function actually let me do with this turntable?

You can stream audio from a phone or tablet to the built-in stereo speakers within a 33-foot range; the turntable cannot send its own vinyl signal to external Bluetooth speakers.
