Four-Channel Coverage

The Rexing R4 records front, rear, left and right views simultaneously, each at 1080p resolution through a 170° ultra-wide lens. Built-in GPS and Wi-Fi let you review footage on a mobile device via the companion app. A supercapacitor replaces a traditional battery for greater heat tolerance. Two mounting options — adhesive or suction cup — suit different windscreen shapes.

Sustained Recording Behaviour

Loop recording continuously overwrites the oldest files so the card never fills during long journeys. Parking mode keeps the unit in a low-power state while the vehicle is off; a detected impact wakes the system to capture an event clip before returning to standby. IR night vision maintains usable image quality in low-light conditions without auxiliary illumination. The supercapacitor ensures reliable starts after extended hot soak periods.

Storage Interface Limits

Footage is written to a single microSD card slot that accepts Class 10 or UHS-I cards up to 256 GB capacity. Cards larger than 256 GB are not supported by the controller. Sustained write speed must meet the UHS-I minimum to avoid dropped frames across four concurrent 1080p streams. The optional CPL filter reduces windscreen glare but does not alter the storage bandwidth requirement.
