Rear View Add-On for V5 Dash Cam

This waterproof rear-view camera attaches to the Rexing V5 front-facing unit to add simultaneous rear recording. It captures 1080p footage through a 170° wide-angle lens for broad coverage behind the vehicle.

Upgrade from Single-Channel Recording

The module replaces a front-only setup by adding a second camera channel without replacing the main unit. The jump is worth it when you need documented rear visibility for parking, reversing or incident recording.

Sustained Operation in Weather and Low Light

The waterproof housing protects the sensor during extended exposure to rain or spray while driving. Night Vision technology maintains clearer image quality during prolonged low-light recording sessions.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the camera body so I can check it fits my rear window or bumper space?

The camera measures 4.75 inches wide by 4.25 inches deep by 2.5 inches high and weighs 0.40 LB.

How do I connect this rear camera to my Rexing V5 front unit, and what is the common mistake?

Plug the single extended cable from the rear camera into the V5 front unit; the step often missed is routing the cable through the vehicle interior and securing it so it does not snag on trim or moving seats.

Will the waterproof seal or lens coating need replacement after prolonged exposure to rain and sun?

The housing is rated waterproof for permanent exterior mounting; no scheduled seal or lens-coating replacement is specified, but wipe the lens occasionally to keep night vision clear.
