Compact HID Prox reader for POS systems

The RF IDEAS 82 Series nano reader connects via USB and reads HID proximity credentials in a vertical form factor. Its small footprint suits countertop terminals where space is limited. The device is aimed at retail and hospitality operators adding contactless badge entry to existing workstations.

Low-power USB operation with silent running

The reader draws power directly from the host USB port and has no moving parts, so it adds negligible load and produces no audible noise. Thermal output is minimal during continuous enumeration and credential reads. No external power supply or active cooling is required.
