USB HID Proximity Enrollment Reader

The RF IDEAS RDR-6081AKU-C06 is a USB desktop reader that enrolls HID proximity credentials into software systems. It connects directly to a PC and reads existing cards without requiring a separate power supply.

IT teams adding badge enrollment to identity

This reader suits administrators who need to register employee badges for logical access, time-and-attendance or visitor-management software. It is not for physical door control, long-range vehicle identification or contactless smart-card technologies such as iCLASS or DESFire.

6-inch fixed USB cable length

The unit ships with a 6 in cable that limits placement to immediate desktop use. Buyers needing wall mounting, extended reach or panel-mount installation should look for a different form factor.
