  • Built-in lightning protector and jumper safeguard equipment
  • Included pigtail connects Netgear DC112A cradle directly

Kit contents and target device

This kit supplies a 12 dBi directional Yagi antenna, a lightning protection device, a 20 ft 400-series low-loss coaxial cable and a dedicated pigtail for the Netgear DC112A AirCard Smart Cradle. It is built for users who need to boost a single LTE antenna port on that specific cradle.

Sustained signal behaviour

The 400-series cable keeps insertion loss below .8 dB at 698 MHz and below 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz across the full 20 ft run, so gain remains stable during continuous operation. The included lightning protector guards the line against surges that would otherwise degrade performance over time.

Frequency range and port limits

The antenna covers 698 to 2700 MHz and connects to one antenna port on the DC112A cradle; a second kit is required to boost the other LTE port. No other interfaces or frequency bands are supported by this kit.

Questions about this item

How much signal loss should I expect from the 20 ft 400-series coaxial cable during continuous operation?

The cable has an insertion loss below 0.8 dB at 698 MHz and below 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz, keeping attenuation low across the full 698-2700 MHz range.

Does the kit include the specific pigtail required to connect the Netgear DC112A AirCard Smart Cradle?

Yes, the PIGDC112A pigtail is included to attach the DC112A cradle directly to the low-loss coaxial cable with minimal signal attenuation.

Can I use this 12 dBi Yagi antenna with an older Netgear cradle that has a different antenna port?

This kit is built for the Netgear DC112A AirCard Smart Cradle; the supplied pigtail and adapters are designed to mate with that specific model.
