20 ft Yagi Antenna Kit for Skyus DS

This directional Yagi antenna kit provides 12 dBi gain across the 698 to 2700 MHz band for the Inseego Skyus DS USB modem. It includes a lightning protector, low-loss coaxial cable, jumper cable and a dedicated pigtail adapter. All connectors are matched to minimise signal attenuation. The complete package readies a single antenna port for outdoor installation.

Suits single-port boost.

The kit targets users who need stronger LTE reception on one antenna port of the Skyus DS. Buyers wanting to amplify both LTE ports simultaneously must purchase two separate kits. The included pigtail is specific to the Skyus DS interface, so the kit does not fit other USB modems or routers without additional adapters.

12 dBi gain from 698 to 2700 MHz

The antenna delivers 12 dBi gain over the full 698 to 2700 MHz range. The supplied 20 ft 400-series cable exhibits insertion loss below .8 dB at 698 MHz and below 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz. This gain figure is the primary determinant of whether the kit meets the link-budget requirements for a given site.

Questions about this item

What components are included in the Rfwel Infra antenna kit and what must be purchased separately?

The kit includes a 12 dBi directional Yagi antenna, lightning protection device, jumper cable, 20 ft 400-series low loss coaxial cable, pigtail for the Inseego Skyus DS USB Modem, and all necessary connectors. To boost both LTE antenna ports, a second kit is required.

Which version of the antenna kit should be chosen for the Inseego Skyus DS USB Modem?

This single kit is designed specifically for the Inseego Skyus DS USB Modem and covers the 698-2700 MHz range with 12 dBi gain. Order two kits if both LTE antenna ports need boosting.

What does the 12 dBi gain mean for real-world signal improvement on the modem?

The 12 dBi directional Yagi antenna focuses signal in one direction, providing higher gain than omnidirectional types. The 20 ft 400-series cable keeps insertion loss below .8 dB at 698 MHz and 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz, preserving most of the antenna gain at the modem.
