5 GHz 7 dBi dipole RP-SMA

This dipole antenna operates across the 5100–5800 MHz range and provides 7 dBi gain. It terminates in an RP-SMA male connector for direct attachment to compatible wireless equipment. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation.

Suited for 5 GHz Wi-Fi links needing moderate gain

Ideal for extending point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections on the 5 GHz band where an RP-SMA interface is present. Not suited for devices limited to other frequency bands or for installations requiring a different connector gender or polarity.

7 dBi gain at 5100–5800 MHz

The 7 dBi gain figure determines whether the antenna delivers sufficient signal strength for the intended link budget. Verify that the host device accepts an RP-SMA male plug and operates within the 5100–5800 MHz window before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 5100-5800 MHz antenna connect to my existing RP-SMA female port?

Yes, the RP-SMA male plug fits any standard RP-SMA female jack on routers, access points or PCIe cards.

How can I confirm the 7 dBi gain is active after installation?

Compare signal strength in your router's client list or a Wi-Fi analyser before and after fitting the antenna; a noticeable rise on 5 GHz channels indicates the gain is working.

Does the package include any cables or mounting brackets, or just the dipole itself?

Only the dipole antenna with its fixed RP-SMA male connector is supplied; extension cables, wall mounts or pole clamps must be purchased separately.
