Vintage-Style Ball Caster for Furniture

The RICHELIEU 6704140 is a swivel caster without a brake, designed to add a rustic iron appearance to chairs, tables or light cabinets. Its single-wheel construction and threaded stem suit DIY upgrades or replacement projects where a traditional look is preferred.

Aluminium Build with Threaded Stem

The caster body uses aluminium finished in a rustic iron tone, giving a vintage aesthetic while keeping the assembly lightweight. The threaded stem allows direct installation into pre-tapped inserts or threaded sockets, so no mounting plate or extra hardware is required.

Check Stem Threads and Load Needs

Verify that your furniture legs or base accept the same thread specification before ordering. The swivel action has no locking brake, so the caster suits pieces that move freely rather than stationary items. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.
