Cabinet pull dimensions

The Richelieu BP8855320140 pull measures 12 5/8 inches center-to-center, equivalent to 320 millimetres. It is designed for traditional furniture and cabinetry where a classic profile is required. The chrome finish adds a bright, durable surface to drawers and doors.

Upgrade from smaller hardware

This length replaces shorter pulls when wider drawers need a comfortable grip span. The jump is worth it when existing hardware feels too narrow for the drawer width or when a renovation calls for a more substantial traditional look. Mounting hardware with 8/32 screws is included for straightforward installation.

Chrome finish constraints

The chrome coating provides corrosion resistance but can show fingerprints and fine scratches with daily use. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm, so handling with gloves during installation is advisable. No other protective coating or antimicrobial treatment is specified.

Questions about this item

What center-to-center measurement do I need for the 320 mm RICHELIEU pull?

The pull requires a 320 mm (12 5/8 in) center-to-center hole spacing; measure between the two screw centers on your cabinet or drawer front to confirm fit.

Which screws are supplied and what pilot-hole size should I drill?

8/32 machine screws are included; drill a 5/32 in (4 mm) pilot hole through the front panel so the threads engage cleanly without splitting the wood.

Will the chrome finish need periodic re-coating or polishing?

The chrome plating is durable for normal cabinet use; clean with mild soap and water only — avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that could dull the surface.
