Genuine Yellow Toner for Aficio MP C305 Series

This original Ricoh cartridge (part 842120) supplies yellow toner for the Aficio MP C305SP and MP C305SPF multifunction printers. It is intended for offices that require consistent colour output on those specific models and prefer manufacturer-sourced consumables. Buyers needing toner for other Ricoh devices or third-party alternatives should look elsewhere.

Standard Office Thermal and Power Profile

The cartridge operates within the normal temperature and humidity range of the host printer without adding measurable heat or noise beyond the device's own specifications. Power draw is governed entirely by the printer engine; the toner unit itself consumes no electricity. No special cooling or ventilation is required beyond the manufacturer's standard operating guidelines.

OEM Build with Direct-Fit Installation

Supplied as a brand-new genuine Ricoh component, the cartridge uses the same moulding tolerances and toner formulation as the original equipment. It seats directly into the yellow toner bay of the compatible Aficio models with no adapters or firmware workarounds. The 4000-page yield at 5 % coverage is rated for typical business documents; high-coverage graphics will reduce the usable page count.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Ricoh 842120 yellow toner cartridge in my Aficio MP C305SPF, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull out the used yellow cartridge, shake the new 842120 gently five times, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks. The step most often missed is pulling the full length of sealing tape out before insertion.

What will need replacement after the 4000-page yield is reached on this yellow cartridge?

The entire 842120 yellow toner cartridge must be replaced once the approximate 4000 pages at 5% coverage are printed; no separate drum or waste container is included with this item.

What limit appears first during long print runs with the 842120 cartridge?

The 4000-page yield at 5% coverage is the first limit; after that volume the toner is depleted and print quality drops until the cartridge is swapped.
