Compact 24.2MP APS-C Kit for Street Shooters

The Ricoh GR IIIx pairs a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with a fixed 40mm f/2.8 lens in a pocketable body. The kit bundles the camera with a 64GB UHS-I SDXC card, flexible tripod, LED light, bag and cleaning accessories so you can start shooting immediately. It suits photographers who prioritise a single, wide-normal focal length and discreet carry over zoom versatility.

Fixed Focal Length and UHS-I Card Speed

The 40mm lens cannot zoom, so composition relies on foot movement rather than optical reach. The GR Engine 6 processes 24.2MP files and Full HD 1080/60p video, but the SD slot tops out at UHS-I, limiting sustained burst rates and buffer clearing compared to faster interfaces. Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi handle image transfer and remote control, yet large Raw batches move slowly over wireless.

Ready-to-Shoot Bundle with Minimal Setup

Every component in the box connects without tools: insert the battery, charge via the supplied Li-50B charger, slot the 64GB card and power on. The 3-inch touchscreen drives menus and focus-point selection, while the 3-axis shake reduction engages automatically. Common issues are forgetting to format the new card in-camera before first use and overlooking firmware updates that improve AF stability.
